About the Practitioner
THERAPIST, CLINICAL SUPERVISOR, RESEARCHER
Anya Lee, MSc, PGDip, PGCert, BSc (Hons), AKC, GMBPsS
I’m a psychological therapist, clinical supervisor, and researcher with experience across NHS, forensic, academic, and community-based services. I currently work as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner within the NHS, delivering High-Intensity CBT and supervising early-career clinicians across multidisciplinary teams.
My clinical practice is grounded in evidence-based psychological frameworks and shaped by specialist training in clinical neuropsychiatry, trauma-informed care, and system-aware models. I’ve worked across CAMHS, MHSTs, Children’s Health & Justice pathways, and long-term conditions services - supporting children, young people, and adults navigating complex and co-occurring presentations.
Alongside therapeutic work, I’m actively engaged in research, service development, and multi-agency collaboration through affiliations with institutions such as King’s College London and UCL. My approach to both therapy and supervision is collaborative, formulation-led, and tailored prioritising reflection, psychological depth, and meaningful outcomes.
I offer individual therapy, 1:1 and group supervision, report writing, and reflective input for practitioners and services. Sessions are available online or in person.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Therapy with me is collaborative, reflective, and paced around what feels safe and useful for you. I don’t offer generic advice or quick-fix solutions - instead, I work with you to build a shared understanding of what’s going on, what’s sustaining it, and what change could look like.
My practice draws from evidence-based psychological models, but sessions are always adapted to your context, capacity, and goals. Depending on your needs, we might explore patterns, consider practical strategies, or work with emotional processing - always within a grounded, thoughtful space.
I prioritise transparency, safety, and care as foundations for meaningful therapeutic work.
